Coco meant everything to us. So smart, so loving and so playful, he was extremely alert. He always seemed to know what we were saying to him. He was relentless in his pursuit of mischief. While this could get a bit frustrating, he always kept us laughing. He demanded our attention and we gave him every bit of it. He never missed a chance to play. His ball was his most cherished possession. He wouldn’t even eat without it.

He was special and everyone knew it. He was so beautiful; people would always stop us to comment. He was known and loved by everyone who he came in contact with. That was never as apparent as at the end, when we received so many cards and letters. Complete strangers asked us what happened. Although his nine years were too short, we were blessed to have him. When he died a part of us died as well. He lives now only in our dreams. We can only pray that someday, we will all be together again.
